The International award-winning Mission Valley Chorus has been an entertainment mainstay of the San Francisco Bay Area since its founding in 1958. This year marks our Golden Anniversary as a chorus. Dedicated to performing vocal music in the classic American four-part harmony style known as Barbershop, Mission Valley is one of the premier chapters of Sweet Adelines International, a women's vocal organization of more than 30,000 voices across the nation and around the world.
Mission Valley Chorus holds many regional and international contest titles, including the coveted Sweet Adelines International Championship in 1976.
Fully supported through membership dues, corporate and foundation grants, and public performances, Mission Valley earns high regard in the community not only for the superb entertainment it provides, but also for the opportunity it offers talented women to participate in a truly first-class musical experience.
